[§]Privacy

This site collects almost nothing.

No forms, no cookies, no trackers. The only personal information you can give us through this site is what you choose to put in an email to us. Effective September 9, 2026.

[01]Who we are

CKS Developers is the trade name of CK Spurlock, Inc., a software studio based in California. This site was previously published at cksdevs.com, which now redirects here. This notice replaces the privacy policy that lived on that domain.

Questions about this notice go to hello@ckshq.com.

[02]What the site collects

As little as a website can. The pages here are static files. There are no contact forms, no account sign-ups, no comment boxes, and no fields that send anything to us.

The site sets no cookies and uses no analytics or advertising trackers. It loads no scripts, fonts, or images from third parties when you visit; everything is served from our own server.

Like any web server, ours receives your IP address and basic browser details in order to send you the page. It does not write them to a visitor log, so we do not retain a record of who visited or which pages they viewed.

Because the site does not track you, it does nothing differently when your browser sends a “Do Not Track” signal. There is nothing to switch off.

[03]When you email us

Every “contact us” link on this site opens your own email program. If you send us a message, we receive your email address, anything you write, and any attachments you include.

We use that information to reply to you and, if we end up working together, to carry on the conversation. It is stored in our business email, which is hosted by Microsoft, for as long as we need it to do that and to keep an ordinary record of our correspondence. We do not sell it. We do not share it except with the providers that host our email and systems, with our professional advisers, or where the law requires.

If you would like us to delete a message you sent, ask at the address above. We will remove it from our active email; copies can persist for a limited time in our email provider’s routine backups, and we may keep a record where we are required to or where we reasonably need it for a dispute.

[04]Links to other sites

Some pages link to sites we do not run, such as code repositories or partner products. Their privacy practices are their own and are not covered by this notice.

[05]Changes

If we add something to this site that collects information, or our practices change, we will update this page and the effective date at the top. The version published here is the one that applies.
