Machines that make water from air, monitored from anywhere.
A company producing water dispensers that generate drinking water from humidity in the air needed a better way to monitor and maintain their fleet. We developed a cloud-integrated platform for remote monitoring and troubleshooting, reducing the need for on-site technicians and improving response time.

Overview
We partnered with a company producing dispensers that pull clean, filtered drinking water out of the humidity in the air, enough to match the output of a traditional five-gallon dispenser. The units install easily and need only electricity, and they are deployed in corporate offices and school districts across the country.
The company needed a way to monitor and maintain those devices remotely. Previously a technician had to physically visit each location to diagnose and fix any issue. Our solution was a cloud integration providing real-time monitoring, error detection, and remote troubleshooting for every dispenser, with administrators able to see the status of each machine, resolve problems remotely, and track water generated and dispensed from one dashboard.
The challenge
Before the cloud integration, an issue with a dispenser meant a truck roll. A technician drove out, assessed, and fixed it. Time-consuming, costly, and slow for the customer waiting on water.
The company needed to monitor machine health, diagnose errors, and troubleshoot remotely while cutting site visits. They also wanted to track water generation and usage, and to give administrators an intuitive interface for managing machines and the companies they were assigned to, in real time.
- On-site technician visits reduced
- Real-time monitoring of device status
- Secure cloud-based infrastructure
- Company & device management
What we achieved
The integration transformed operations. Administrators log into a cloud dashboard, create and manage machines, assign devices to companies, monitor water generation, and troubleshoot remotely.
That significantly reduced on-site technician visits, cutting cost and improving response time. The system also tracks the amount of water generated and dispensed, producing data valuable to both the company and its clients. Beyond efficiency, it reinforces the company's sustainability position by eliminating bottled water deliveries and the CO₂ that comes with them.
